Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has strongly condemned Israel’s attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. He warned that Israel would have to pay a heavy price for such a heinous crime. Araghchi made this statement on Friday through a post on the social media platform X, according to The Times of Israel.

On Friday (March 27), Israeli forces carried out attacks on several nuclear facilities in Iran. These included a uranium production center and a heavy water reactor. In addition, Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB reported that Israeli strikes also targeted two steel factories in Isfahan.

In his post on X, Araghchi stated that Israel claims it carried out the attacks in coordination with the United States. He noted that the attack contradicts the timeline extended by Donald Trump regarding action against Iran. He further emphasized that Iran will exact a heavy price from Israel for this crime.

These attacks occurred at a time when President Donald Trump had stated that if Iran reopened the Strait of Hormuz, the United States would delay potential strikes on Iran’s energy facilities. The Strait of Hormuz, located between Iran and Oman, is a crucial global shipping route. Since the beginning of military operations by the United States and Israel in Iran on February 28, vessel movement through the strait has nearly come to a halt.
