Yemen’s Houthi rebels have threatened to engage in direct military action if any other party joins the joint forces in the ongoing conflict between Iran and the US-Israel alliance. They stated that they are ready to intervene militarily if another country conducts operations against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Resistance Axis on behalf of the coalition.

On Saturday (March 28), Yemen’s armed forces said that, based on their religious and moral duties, they are actively prepared to stop the brutal aggression by the US and Israeli adversaries targeting Iran and the broader Islamic nation.

According to the Houthis, the aim of this aggression is to expand Israel to establish a “Greater Israel” and to reshape the Middle East.

The Yemeni forces emphasized in their statement that they are firmly committed to the right of just resistance against the US and Israel and to ensuring cooperation among the people and nations of the region. They stressed that their operations are directed solely at US and Israeli forces and do not target any Muslim population.

Houthi Commitments:

  1. Calling for an immediate halt to US and Israeli aggression through international diplomatic efforts.
  2. Ending aggression against Muslim countries in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, and Iraq, and lifting the illegal blockade on Yemen.
  3. Implementing agreements in Gaza and ensuring the humanitarian rights of Palestinians.

Preparedness for Direct Military Action in the Following Cases:

  1. If another ally joins the US and Israel.
  2. If hostile operations are conducted against Muslim countries or Iran via the Red Sea.
  3. If military pressure against Iran and the Resistance Axis continues.

The forces reiterated that their military operations are aimed only at US and Israeli adversaries, not at Muslim populations.
