The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has urged civilians to quickly leave areas surrounding U.S. military bases as tensions continue to rise in the Middle East.

In a statement, the IRGC’s public relations department said, “We strongly advise you to immediately evacuate areas where U.S. forces are deployed, so that you do not come to harm.” The statement further added that targeting U.S. troops “wherever they are found” is a “sacred duty” of the IRGC.

Meanwhile, a report by BBC Bangla said that Israel continued its attacks across Iran throughout Thursday night.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said on Friday morning that they carried out a strike on a missile production facility in Tehran. In addition, a facility in Yazd used for producing naval mines was also targeted.

On the other hand, attacks against Israel also continued. Images showed trails of rocket smoke in the sky over the coastal city of Netanya.

According to Lebanese media, Israel carried out strikes in the southern suburbs of Beirut. A drone attack also hit Kuwait’s main commercial port. Port authorities stated that although there was “damage to goods” due to the “enemy” drone strike, no casualties were reported.

Saudi Arabia reported that it had intercepted multiple drones on Thursday night.

Meanwhile, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal, U.S. President Donald Trump is considering sending an additional 10,000 ground troops to the Middle East.
